Want to know how your dive gear works?

Then the PADI Equipment Specialist course is for you! Familiarize yourself with the operation and maintenance of your own personal Dive Equipment.

Our program is not an extensive equipment-repair program that allows you to purchase parts and work on Dive Equipment. However, it does provide you with the basics of care and adjustments you'll encounter in an every day environment. 

This Course is excellent for DiveMasters and other Professionals seeking to increase their knowledge or for the beginner who is looking to be more self sufficient and confident in their abilities.

Covered in this Course:

• Theory, principles and operation of dive equipment.

• Routine equipment care and appropriate storage.

• Common gear problems and proper maintenance. (Includes a demo of repair procedures).

• Simple suggestions for ideal equipment configuration.

• Proper Gear Storage

• On Hands Training in Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Approx. Time: 4-5 Hrs

Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

No Special Gear Requirements.

You may bring your own Regulator, B.C. & Tank if you own them - or just show up!

FOR COMPLETION

• Attend Class Session and Complete Assignments.
• Demonstrate Proficiency in Equipment Troubleshooting and Repair Principles.
• Pass Written Exam.
