Battery change & pressure check
Battery change prices vary by computer. Labor generally $5–$25 + parts. All in-house battery changes INCLUDE A PRESSURE CHECK prior to leaving the store — this is the only way we will do a battery change. Some manufacturers have user-changeable batteries — we sell kits; kits are non-returnable on customer-installed batteries. We will not install on the spot unless we perform the pressure check. This is a 48 hour service.

Visual Inspection
Includes full DOT internal & external inspection
Includes removal of valve, inspection inside & outside to DOT standards. We will replace illegal burst discs, valve-to-tank O-rings and conduct a visual eddy current test on all aluminum tanks.
Usually performed within 8 business hours but may take up to 48 hours. Rush service $10 per tank for guaranteed 6-hour turnaround.

Minor internal cleaning (light whip)
The whipping process can take 10–30 minutes depending on rust. After whipping, your tank will receive a new “VIP” sticker showing it is clean to DOT standards.

Medium to heavy tumbling internal cleaning
Tumbling can take anywhere from 4–6 days depending on severity of rust/corrosion. After tumbling, tank receives VIP sticker.

Should you insist on not having a leak Test – there is NO WARRANTY that your suit is in working order upon pickup. Suit is “As Is”.

These Repairs are usually done in up to 30 Days (Usually no Rush Service Available)
Any DrySuit that requires Alterations, Boot Replacements or New Zippers Currently need to be Shipped Out to the Manufacturers for Repairs – These Types of Repairs are Currently beyond Our Scope of Abilities.

Note on all DrySuit Repairs
  • We receive DrySuits in for repair in various stages of use. It is our intention to make repairs to the best of our ability based on the suits condition.
  • Our Warranty Extends only to the work we perform and only under NORMAL Usage as follows: Latex Seals are Guaranteed for 30 Days and all Workmanship/Labor for 90 Days.
  • PW reserves the right to rule on what is considered NORMAL Usage and what is considered Harsh Usage.
  • ANNUAL SERVICE – This Service is what is REQUIRED BY THE MANUFACTURERS to keep your Lifetime Warranty Valid.  It is also Recommended by Pacific Wilderness since your Gear is “LIFE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT”.  Annual Service Includes a Complete System Pressure Check, Cleaning and Safety Check to make sure your gear is performing within Manufacturers Specs.  If your Gear does not pass this Check and requires an Overhaul, we will do so and you will be charged the Overhaul Rate Only (Not for the “Annual”).  If you do not wish to Overhaul the system, we will need to charge you for the Annual and your system will be returned “AS IS”.
  • OVERHAUL- This Service is what is NECESSARY to keep your Gear Safe.  A Complete Overhaul Includes Disassembly of your Whole System, Cleaning of all Parts, Replacement of all Recommended O-Rings / Seats / Parts – Reassembly,  Adjustment and Safety Check to make sure your it is performing within Manufacturers
