SPECIALTY INSTRUCTOR CLASS REQUIREMENTS

PREREQUISITE

REQUIRED GEAR
Completion of the PADI OWSI Class & 100 Logged Dives & 6 Months Diving Experience to Start.Current EFR or CPR / First AidTrainingPADI Approved Physical signed by your PhysicianPass Pre-Assessment Exam

Current PADI Instructor Status

(Minimum age 18 to Register)

 The Following Equipment is Required for your Specialty Class:

  • Basic Gear (Purchased in OpenWater)
  • Full SCUBA Gear (Gear Ownership is Required at this Level)
    • Regulator System
    • B. C.
    • Tank
    • Wetsuit & Hood
    • Weight Belt

    Plus the Following needed for the Instructor Class:

  • Dive Knife & Slate*
  • Compass*
  • Whistle*
  • Safety Sausage*
  • Pocket Mask*
