Challenging and rewarding best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken.

Our PADI Rescue Diver program is serious & challenging, but also exciting and very rewarding. It includes 12 OpenWater training exercises to fully prepare you in the event of a diving emergency. In addition to receiving your PADI Rescue Card, you’ll gain confidence and greatly enhance your diving performance.

Certification Required for the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

RESCUE DIVER CLASS REQUIREMENTS

PREREQUISITE

REQUIRED GEAR
Completion of the PADI Advanced Diver Class or Equivalent Certification from another Agency plus 20 Logged Dives. Current EFR or CPR Rating

(Minimum age 15 to Register)

 The Following Equipment is Required for this Class:

  • Basic Gear (Purchased in OpenWater)
  • Full SCUBA Gear

(Gear Ownership is Required at this Level)

  • Regulator System
  • B. C.
  • Tank
  • Wetsuit & Hood
  • Weight Belt

Plus the Following needed for your Rescue Class:

  • Dive Knife & Slate*
  • Compass*
  • Whistle*
  • Safety Sausage*
  • Pocket Mask*

*Note, this Equipment is Required at ALL Dive Shops and is not included in the Class.

FOR COMPLETION

  • Attend All Class Sessions and Complete All Assignments.

  • Attend Pool Sessions and Demonstrate Proficiency in Rescue Skills

  • Complete Four Dives and Demonstrate Skills

  • Pass Written Exam
