LOCAL DIVING CONDITIONS

Diving conditions along the local coast have been varied this week.

Last Sunday, we completed 3 dives at the oil rigs aboard the Giant Stride with 50+ ft visibility and no surge or swells! Water temps were 64°F at 100 ft to 68°F at the surface.

Laguna has been less favorable, with 5–10 ft visibility reported throughout the week.

🌊 Saturday: 1–2½ ft swells
🌊 Sunday: 3–3½ ft swells
🌡️ Water: 63–67°F deep / 68–71°F shallow

Pacific Wilderness Dive Team is looking for a part-time or full-time Sales Floor Team Member to join our specialized dive shop team.

This is more than a retail position. It’s an opportunity to build real experience in the diving industry while working alongside experienced professionals.

What You’ll Get

* Top employee discounts on dive gear and equipment
* Professional dive training opportunities — with the goal of progressing through Rescue Diver, Divemaster, or Instructor certification
* Hands-on experience across many areas of the dive industry
* Opportunities to assist customers with gear selection, dive planning, classes, trips, and equipment
* Technical training in dive gear servicing and repair
* Experience working with a small, specialized dive team
* Once certified and qualified to teach, Sales Floor employees get first pick of available classes to teach

Who We’re Looking For

Someone who is passionate about diving with a minimum of Open Water certification, enjoys working with people, wants to learn, can commit to being on staff for the 3-6 months training and at least a year after the training period, and is interested in building a long-term career in the dive industry.
